Explanation

Report rules automate report customization by defining conditions and actions. When conditions are met during report generation, specified actions are executed. These actions can modify various report attributes such as layout, format, output options, and distribution. Multiple rules can be applied to a report, with their order of execution determined by defined priorities.

The Report Rule Engine is activated during the print process, influencing default print settings. You can define multiple levels of default properties within the print dialog to customize report output based on specific criteria using Actions.

For Report Designer layouts, the following Action Types are supported in the IFS cloud:

  1. Set Property
  2. Set Default property 
  3. Preselect Property
  4. Change System Setting 
  5. Route to Connect
  6. Send Email 
  7. Print to Logical Printer 
  8. Set Archive Property 
  9. Check in to document management
  10. Insert PDF
  11. Sign PDF 
  12. Set Print Agent Property
  13. PDF Insert from Document Management
