Using IFS Business Reporter (BR), report designers can create reports using various Information Sources. These reports can then be published to IFS Cloud through IFS Business Reporter, enabling them to use standard reporting functionalities.
To access a published report via the Order Report page, users must have the required permissions which means the Projections linked to the report must be granted to the user. Similarly, a BR report designer intending to execute a published report in Report Mode within BR must have these permissions, except when they are the ones who created or last modified the report definition.
Predefined Permission Sets are designed to give BR end users and designers the necessary functional projection permissions for their roles. However, these Permission Sets focus primarily on functional access rather than report-specific access. Therefore, additional report-specific permissions must be granted to users, such as BR end users, even if they already have functional access permissions for their role.
