Design Mode

Design Mode in IFS Business Reporter is intended for report designers responsible for creating and customizing reports. In this mode, users have full control over the structure, data sources, and layout of the report, focusing on tailoring the content to meet organizational/end-user needs. To access the design mode and its features, report designers need to be granted the necessary permission sets.

Report designers can design reports by selecting and placing measures and dimension items from one or multiple Information Sources directly into Excel cells. Standard Excel formatting and calculations can be applied to these cells, making report creation intuitive and flexible.

Key Design Features:

  1. Repeaters for Efficient Report Expansion
  2. Structure Repeaters for Hierarchical Reporting
  3. Flexible Filtering and Interactive Slicers
  4. Cross-Information Source Data Mixing
  5. Drill Down and Zoom In for Detailed Analysis
  6. Writeback for Updating IFS Cloud with Report Data

With these powerful design capabilities, along with Microsoft Excel’s formatting and calculation functions, IFS Business Reporter enables users to create diverse, tailored reports that meet a wide range of analytical and reporting needs.

Once reports are designed, they can be published to IFS Cloud, making them accessible to authorized users with the appropriate permissions.
