Modify Repair RMA Line Details
Explanation
This activity allows you to modify the Repair RMA Line details. It
involves updating information about the parts being received and sent back
to the customer. The RMA Line details also determine the organizations and
the standard tasks used for creating RMA units.
You can use the Status command button to change the status of the RMA
Line. Status options include (selections depend on the current status):
- New: This is the default status when the RMA Line is created.
- In Progress: This status indicates that units are currently being
repaired. The RMA Line will automatically be set to In Progress when an
item is received or shipped, depending on the return reason process
type.
- Closed: This status signifies that all units on the RMA Line have
been completed. It is automatically set when the last receiving or
shipping action occurs, based on the return reason process type.
- On Hold: This status indicates that the units being repaired are
waiting for parts or require customer approval.
- Cancel: This status shows that the units on the RMA Line will no
longer be repaired.
Prerequisites
A Repair RMA along with Repair RMA Lines should exist in
Service Management>Depot Repair>Repair RMA Handling>Repair RMA.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the RMA Lines are modified.
