After you have specified the parameters that determine how the server is going to work, you connect the server setup to an empty Demand Plan Server process. The first time you start the server, no forecast data is present in the database, you need to at least have one base flow with at least one forecast part in the base flow in order to see anything in the Demand Forecast client. If you have defined jobs to be run, the server will run these jobs at the specified start date and time. You also can start all the jobs manually from the server GUI the first time.
