This activity allows you to register a new contact using the Scan New Contact assistant, available on IFS Cloud Web and the mobile app CRM Companion. The assistant uses AI to extract the information from a physical business card.
To add a new contact in IFS Cloud Web, upload an image of a business card into the Scan New Contact assistant. The image is processed to identify text and numbers within the image, such as names, phone numbers, company names, job titles, and addresses. Once the text is extracted, the information is structured into relevant fields. You can then launch the New Contact assistant to complete the registration. The assistant allows you to register a contact for a new lead or account or add it to an existing lead or account in CRM.
To add a new contact in CRM Companion, take a photo of the business card or upload an image from your device into the Scan New Contact assistant. The image is processed to identify text and numbers within the image, such as names, phone numbers, company names, job titles, and addresses. Once the text is extracted, select whether the contact should be created for a lead or an account and complete the registration. The assistant allows you to register a contact for a new lead or account or add it to an existing account in CRM.
