This activity is used to perform the State change at the header level of the Business Opportunity. Click the Lost command placed under the status group command of the Business Opportunity page, and the Lost Business Opportunity dialog will be displayed. In this dialog, you can enter the relevant lost note, the reason for the loss, and to which competitor and competitor product the opportunity was lost.
The opportunity must have been entered and saved before you can set the header state to Lost.
The opportunity header state is set to Lost, and the additional info tab is updated with the state information relevant to lost. No further transactions can be performed for the opportunity.
