Enter Global Address per Revision

Explanation

This activity allows you to define a global address as the delivery address for a specific opportunity revision. A Global Address is a predefined address primarily used for delivery purposes. It is not the customer's address but can be a logistics location (e.g., port yard, airport, etc.) where goods should be delivered.

When a new opportunity is created, the default delivery and document addresses for the account are added to the Additional Info tab, and the revision in the Lines tab. These addresses can be changed for the entire opportunity or for specific revisions if different addresses are needed for a certain opportunity revision. If the items in a revision should be delivered to a global address, select the address in the Global Address field within the business opportunity revision. The Single Occurrence option will automatically be selected when a global address is selected in the business opportunity revision. Tax information will be applied based on the customer delivery address.
