This activity is used to change an existing sales process to avoid creating a new opportunity if the wrong process has been used. The Change Sales Process is available only when an opportunity has a confirmed sales process. If the sales process is not confirmed yet, you can still select a different process in the sales process field.
Selecting the Change Sales Process command opens the Change Sales Process dialog, allowing you to select a different process from all valid Business Opportunity processes, which will replace the existing sales process.
The previous stages and actions will be replaced by the new process when the opportunity or sales process is changed using the Change Sales Process feature.
