Select Onboarding Template

Explanation

The Select Onboarding Template allows users to define contractors by type and apply a pre-defined onboarding template. If the selected Contractor Type has a linked Onboarding Template set as Default, it will automatically populate the Onboarding Template ID field. However, users have the option to manually select a different template if desired.

Clicking Save/OK will apply the chosen Onboarding Template and automatically load the corresponding checklist items into the Onboarding Checklist tab. If no Onboarding Template is pre-linked to the contractor type, users can manually select and apply one.

Users can change the state of each Onboarding Checklist line to:

• Done
• Not Done
• Not Applicable (only possible if the Mandatory field is set to No)
• Reset

Prerequisites

An Onboarding Template must exist.

System Effects

• As a result of this activity an Onboarding Checklist is applied to the Service Contractor.
• The Onboarding Badge will change based on the status of the onboarding checklist: Onboarding Not Started, Onboarding in Progress, and Onboarding Completed.
