Negotiate Contract

Explanation

Use this activity to negotiate an agreement with a contractor before activating it.

When you click the Negotiate button, the agreement status is set as Negotiated. Once the negotiation has concluded and the information has been updated, the Negotiate button will be replaced by a To Accept button. This allows the parties involved to decide whether to activate or reject the agreement, facilitating the finalization of the deal.

This ensures all parties know coverages, timelines, costs, and services before activating the agreement.

Prerequisites

A Contractor Agreement must exist and be in a Planned status.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the Contractor Agreement will be reflected as Negotiated, To Accept, Reject or Cancelled.
