Copy Sales Contract
Explanation
Use this activity to copy information, from the originating sales contract or any
other existing contract to another existing sales contract. It is also possible to
create a new contract and copy the originating contract's information to it.
When copying information between two different companies, company specific data
is not copied.
Prerequisites
- A sales contract and its revision must exist.
System Effects
- Selected data is copied from one sales contract revision to another
sales contract revision, or a new sales contract is created by copying selected
data from a revision of a sales contract.
- When copying information to an existing sales contract, if the Planned
Start Date field is left empty, the new line items that are added will
have the Planned Start Date of the originating
contract. Otherwise the specified
date will be taken for the line items.
