Update Employee Movements
Description of process
In the process of Salary Planning & Review, once the
plan is generated, information is retrieved according to the specified snapshot
date. If there is a necessity to modify this information, the Update Employee
Movements assistant can be used. This tool enables users to adjust the salary
review data for two categories of employees:
- Employees transferring between different organizations.
- Employees concluding their employment (Termination).
Employees transferring between different organizations
- This process can be facilitated from the Single Employee Assignment
Assistant as well as from the Group Employee Assignment Assistant. When
an employee's movement is in progress and either of the above assistants
is completed, the application will automatically guide the user to the Update
Employee Movement Assistant. This step ensures a continuation of the employee
movement process with the selected employees.
- As the employee undergoes the transfer, updates will occur for the Salary
Setting Organization, Salary Setting Manager, and the Proposed Revision
Amount. In this context, the application will consider the most recent proposed
revision amount and transfer it to the new organization. The transferred
sum will then be deducted from the existing organization's budget. Concurrently,
the budget of the new organization will be revised to encompass the portion
of funds allotted for the relocating employee.
Following Illustrates how the budget will be moved within organizations when
employee movements happens.
Organization which the employee will be moved into
Total Increment Budget = Previous Total Increment Budget
of the organization + Increment Amount of the moved employees
(This will be the Increment Amount that was set by the manager
of Salary Setting Manager (SSM)
Remaining Budget = Previous Remaining
Budget of the organization + (Increment Amount proposed
by manager of SSM – Increment Amount proposed by SSM)
Organization which the employee moved out
Total
Increment Budget = Previous Total Budget of the organization
- Increment Amount of the moved employees (This will be the
Increment Amount that was set by the manager of Salary Setting
Manager)
Remaining Budget = Previous Remaining Budget
of the organization - (Increment Amount proposed by manager
of SSM – Increment Amount proposed by SSM)
When an employee is terminated,
Within the Termination Assistant, a check will be conducted
to determine if the employee is active in any ongoing Salary Reviews. Should
this be the case:
- If the employee does not hold the role of Salary Setting Manager nor
that of an approver, the application will indicate that the employee is
slated for removal from the plan. The user will have the option to select "ignore
warnings," allowing them to proceed with eliminating the employee from
the salary Salary Rreview. Upon completing this process, the system will
remove the employee from the relevant organization, along with the amount
originally allocated by the HR.
- If the employee holds the role of a Salary Setting Manager or an approver,
this information will be alerted to the user upon the conclusion of the
Termination assistant Assistant. However, no immediate actions will take
place within the termination process itself. To proceed, the user can access
the Update Employee Movement assistant through the provided link in the
termination Termination assistantAssistant. Through this link, the application
will seamlessly transfer the relevant employees to the Update Employee Movement
assistantAssistant, allowing the process to be continuedcontinue from that
point onward.
Upon either a transfer or a termination, the status of
the entire organization will be reset to "Set for Review."
