Define Salary Review Approval Setup

Explanation

The purpose of this activity is to set a Salary Setting Manager for every employee of the selected company and Set the Approvals for the Salary Setting Manager. This information will be used for the Salary Review and approval process. The list of Salary Setting Managers will be fetched, from the responsible person connected to the organizations, through the Graphical Organization Structure.

The solution lists all the salary setting managers and the default salary review approval configuration assigned to each salary setting manager. It is possible to change the default salary review approval configuration in this step.

At the end of this assistant, users will be navigated to the Salary Review Approval Overview” page. In this page, users will be able to see,

Users can change the approval levels/steps such as adding, removing or changing the order on this page.

There are 2 sections in the nested list for each salary setting manager which are Approvers and Initiators. Approvers will be the persons who have the responsibility to approve the Salary Review which is done by the Salary Setting Managers.

  Initiators are the set of persons who are given authority to change the budget amounts which is originally allocated for Salary Setting Managers from the Salary Review Plan and they can make these changes before the Salary Review begins. For example, the initiator can give their suggestions on increments for a certain employee before the salary setting manager starts with their reviews or they can make budget transfers from one organization to another organization.

The list of the initiators will be in the descending order of the approvers and the user would not be able to change the order of it. Any change that is done for the approver section will be viewed in the initiators in descending order.
