This activity is used to plan the usage of resources when performing any kind of work. Expand the tree view in Compatible Unit Navigator and select the defined work list of the compatible unit. Add a record in the Resources tab to connect a resource in to an execution item. Tool/Equipment, Person and Crew resources can be added by selecting the appropriate demand type.
Bucket Resource Demands
If bucket resources have been defined, it is possible to define a bucket resource group under the demand type person. A specific bucket resource can also be defined once the group has been defined just like you would define a normal person type demand. However, the work execution flow for bucket resources will be different to the conventional work execution flow as they are typically considered as resources outside our organization.
As a result of this activity, a resource line will be connected to the execution item.
