Insert Previous Application Values (B2B)
Explanation
This activity is used by a business-to-business (B2B) user to copy values
from the previous application. Entering the application work values and the
stored material to a subcontract can be a time-consuming job, and it is
highly likely that a number of contract items will not have their
application values changed since the last application.
To assist the responsible user and avoid having to enter values for all
items, values from the previous application can be copied when entering a
new application. If a previous application does not exist, the
Insert Previous Application Values command will not be displayed.
Prerequisites
- The supplier (contractor) is defined as a B2B supplier by the Contract
Owner.
- The B2B user is connected to the supplier by the Contract Owner.
- The application is connected to a valuation in the Planned status.
- The B2B Status for this valuation is set to Released or In
Progress.
- A previous application for the sub contract exists.
System Effects
- The application work value and stored material for each line item in
the selected line are copied from the previous application.
- If the B2B status was set to Released before the
values are copied, it will be changed to In Progress.
