Update Status of Asset Configuration

Explanation

You can use this activity to update the status of an Asset Structure Configuration. Parent Objects for Selected Sites tab displays all top-level object hierarchies in the selected sites. The selected top-level object hierarchies can sync into the Operational Intelligence (OI) system once the status of an Asset structure configuration is updated as Published. If you no longer want the selected object hierarchies to sync into the OI system, then you can update the status of the configuration as Inactive.

Prerequisites

• An Asset Structure Configuration should be already created.
• The Asset Structure Configuration should have at least one connected site with equipment objects assigned.

System Effects

• When the status changes to Published, only published configurations will be updated in the OI system. Any child objects added to an already published configuration will also get updated.
• Inactive and draft configurations will not be updated.
